Want to try something new, make awesome friends and get fit? Come along to our free open evening and try out roller derby!

Join us for a fun and friendly session where you'll get a taster of what roller derby is all about. All levels welcome, from absolute beginners to confident skaters. Our experienced coaches will introduce you to some skills, followed by a showcase game played by some of our members so you can see the sport in action.

After the game, you'll have the chance to take to the track yourself and try out some of the game's key elements, either as a player or an official, all safely off skates! It's a great opportunity to get a feel for the game without the pressure of skating.

We can lend you everything you'll need to get started (but you're welcome to bring your own skates if you have them!)

Just bring clothes to get sweaty in, trainers suitable for indoor sports, and a water bottle.

What to expect:

- A beginner's guide to roller skating

- A live roller derby showcase game

- The chance to try out the game off-skates

- Free snacks!
